The sensation during sex is the same if not better than ever but when I orgasm it isn't so intense lately. What could be causing this?

With age,the hormone levels come down.The glands produce them in little less quantities.And orgasm is just about those hormones which make you feel pleasure. So,that must be the age.You didn't mention your age in question.Thats from medical point of view.
Other factor might be stress or fear which are over-riding the feel of pleasure.In that case,try keeping you calm and your mind away from worldly matters and enjoy the act.

Maybe you are masturbating/having sex too much. Find different ways of masturbating/having sex. Do something you don't normally do. Don't be afraid to take a break.

How often do you do it? Try waiting like 3months, you'll both go insane but boy will that sensation be back.
