Help:( my cat has breathing problems :(?

My cat is breathing raspy and then it sounds like he's trying to cough something up... What should I do:((

It looks/sounds like something is in there preventing him from breathing normally

Could he have eaten something and can't get it out?

Either your cat toke a large area of air in to his/her mouth

    or..

your cat may of been/is choking on something you can help by picking it up and getting the item/items out of his/hers mouth if it is little then you cant really do anything because you may damage the mouth if you open it at a young age.

My cat did this while getting over a upper respiratory infection, was your cat sick recently? Maybe its just a bit of aftermath from his illness. If no, and he gets very low to the ground, with shoulders hunched forward, while dry coughing then it can be asthma. Best thing is wait a few days, if it continues, especially after physical activity ask your vet to check your cat for asthma.

I just came back from the vet with my cat who has similar symptoms as your cat. He was diagnosed with asthma. It's best to take him to the vet.
