GH: WHY are they redoing odld characters, ie. Drew Lavery, Alan Q, AJ and?

I think GH is running out of ideas....or maybe they want to do it one more time before GH is canceled

Alan....I wish they would never have gotten rid of....tired of the ghost thing wish he was still around.

They are trying to bring the show back to it's roots, ratings were bad and GH was thisclose to being cancelled so the writers KNEW they had to step up their game to salavage the show.

I like how they are going to a more balanced show with the entire cast enteracting, between 1999-2011 its been about Jason/Sonny their wars with other mobsters and centering around the women in their lives, anyone who wasn't connected to them was backburnered. I am enjoying all the old school characters coming back (even if it's brief), its more enteratining that way.

GH is on contract to April 2013, so they legally cannot cancel the show until that date, and even then April 2013 would just be the offical annoucnment, there would be 4-6 months AFTER that for s/ls to widn down and for characters to come back for one final hurrah.

I guess they r trying to make GH how it was before mob central took over. Dont get me wrong i love sonny and his mob stuff but it was just too much. A nice balance between mob, drs, and the Qs is good. I loved the nurses ball. GH needs to go old school again to stay on cause with the show being all mob can only go so far u know. Hence, the oldies coming back.

The ratings are going up so it must be working
