You need to learn to like oatmeal, have you tried all the flavored ones ? It's really healthy for you and it does more than most food, it keeps your blood sugars stable during the day, give you a better mood and less urge to snack. Eggs are good, they keep going back and forth on the health of the yolks though. I'd consider them mostly healthy, as they were designed to be eaten. The have choline in them, which is a natural anti-cholesterol ingredient. I'd make eggs up the night before, enough for a few days even, then just reheat to eat. So much easier. The bagel and cream cheese aren't cutting it. If anything eat what you would for lunch or dinner, just because people normally eat differently for breakfast doesn't mean it's a rule, it's more just going with the flow. Eat for your health, forget what meal it is. Breakfast is so important because your body has been without food since the night before, so eat something good. How about bananas ? They are really good, and milk, protein and fats your brain and body need.

You want to eat your carbs at breakfast: so that's any whole grain. I know you said you don't like oatmeal, but oatmeal is by far the ideal healthy breakfast. try and steer clear of bagels, as they contain a whopping 4 pieces of bread- more than you could possibly need. also avoid enriched white flour, or white bread in any form whenever possible. in addition to oats and whole grains, and form of vitamin C is a great way to wake up and get some essential nutrients right from the start. orange juice is the easiest, since it is a beverage. bananas are also packed in nutrients. if you are below the age of 18, it is essential that you consume as much dairy as possible since your bones can still increase in density (an ability they lose after the age of 18). try and drink the leanest milk possible, keeping it at 1% or skim. A good way to combine all of this is to make a fruit smoothie the night before that you can grab in the morning- it may require more effort at night, but in the morning you'll be super glad you did it. you can toss in a banana, any fruit, some milk, and even orange juice. furthermore, seeing as you don't like oatmeal, there are a multitude of carbohydrate-rich meal supplements you can mix right into your smoothie that you won't be able to taste! they may seem pricey, but they will last a VERY long time, and are 100% worth the investment.
