What can we do to help President Obama break through the Congressional blockade and fix our country?

Many members of the congress will be up again for reelection in two years. If they continue to stone wall they may find themselves out of a job. The government will need to downsize guess where the first cuts can be made. That right in the states of the holdouts. This election may be called close but, considering a incumbent has never been elected with unemployment over 7% it is a huge victory. It goes to show that half of the country is not buying the old lies. The reason were in the hole we are is because of another ex governor businessman who claimed to know what he was doing. He also liked to use buzz words like god, trust, believe etc. While some forget and think a 8 year mess can be cleaned up in 3 (when they started their rhetoric) others realize getting out of a hole is harder than putting yourself in one. Furthermore we know the party responsible for it. When people start writing their representatives more the wheel will get greased. This election may prove involvement makes a difference. We need to keep it up.

I have a degree in Political Science (among other matters) with a view to toss out the worn out line liberals use of portray everybody that disagrees with them as uneducated. I did not vote for Obama and i will not give him dictatorial powers seeing that he gained the election. I did not become aware of liberals handing GWB a rubber stamp due to the fact that he received two elections. I believe his policies are hazardous for the country and i will continue to be part of the loyal opposition. I don't want Obama and ill well being and that i do not dislike him individually however i'm hoping he fails to enact his agenda.

You asked a lot of questions, but I'll answer them by saying this:

Both sides have to give in a little to make resolutions. I'm an Obama supporter, but honestly, I think both sides have a lot of serious issues to work on.

The only thing we can do as people is keep track of what's going on and VOTE IN EVERY MUNICIPAL ELECTION, not just the Presidential election every four years.

Hopefully people will wake up and vote the people who put party before country out. They didn't this time around, so I don't hold out much hope because it seems a lot of the country puts party before country as well.

Unfortunately, I suspect they will. It would be nice if the Republican party could return to a more moderate stance, as they used to be. The tea party, religious conservatism, amongst other things, have pushed them to far to the right. They will block Obama at every chance they have. Instead of helping better the country, they will simply butt heads and make us all suffer.

Easy you could have voted for Romney not obama. Now the country is done.

Defense of liberty is not extremism. Obstruction is what they were elected to do.
