If the Republicans do that they will assure themselves of an even greater loss than they suffered this time. The Tea Party has to learn that they can win primaries in an increasingly marginalized GOP, and the occasional congressional seat, but they will not win general elections because their ideas are far out of step with most of America.

No, I think you're engaging in some wishful thinking. If Republicans are going to succeed even in remaining a pertinent party the Establishment Republicans will take it back and leave the Tea Party on its own, with its own funding, the country simply isn't that rightwing, and doesn't want all the issues, not just smaller government that they would bring with them.

TP has really made that tail wag the dog, and they cannot win on a national basis.

Romney was never a clear favorite. The GOP establishment pushed for him...the media made sure to kill off his competition.

I expect to see the Tea Party either revolt and take over the GOP, or form their own party.

The reason they didn't do it this time was because the GOP kept saying we need to back one candidate and not split our vote. Well....how did that work out? Next time the GOP can back our candidate.

No Romney lost in Michigan his home state , he lost in Massachutsettes the state he was elected as Governor a place where the Republican Party he claimed he done so much good for but these states wouldn't even vote for if that doesn't speak volumes what will???

I placed my civil rights earlier basically all different subject concerns. I actual have self assurance that Obama will "evolve" to assist marriage equality for the time of his 2d term. I get excitement from his record on gay subject concerns to this point, quite thinking how massive a large number the economic equipment and our budge are in.
