How do I UC transfer program?
I'm planning on applying to University of California for 2013-14. If I don't get in, I want to transfer to it from a community college. To do this, do I apply to USC and the community college at the same time?
Let's say I do that, and I get accepted to USC, eliminating the need to attend a community college to transfer to USC. At this point, do I need to do anything to my enrollment with the community college? (since it is open admission)
USC = University of Southern California, accidentally left out 'Southern'

I assume the "USC" was a spelling error and you are asking about the UCs. You should apply to UCs now (deadline is November 30); you will receive the admission decisions by the end of March. At that time, you can apply to the community colleges if necessary. For Fall 2013 term at the community colleges, applications should be open by late spring and you should apply before the summer (before June/July). If you want to start at the community college in the Summer 2013 term, apply before the end of spring (April/May).
