I want to know how other countries reacted to this time in American history. Did they think America was going to fall apart? Did this time affect international affairs at all? Anyone know?

The only outside mention I have ever read..was that the French wondered if the American revolution--was close to the heart of the French revolution..

I would say--America opened the door--of Dog Eat Dog..

Therefore--the outside world would be reacting to corruption--of that purpose..
From your question alone..I would think that Christian religion would be casting doubts--towards America.
