39 weeks + small amount of brown smearing blood?

Ahh I wish I could say yes but I was over due 41 weeks when I first started bleeding and rushed to the hospital, afraid I miscarried! Turns out it was normal blood and I was okay. I actually bled like that, heavy, sometimes, for 5 days, until my water broke at 41 weeks 5 days! Good luck, your baby will be here VERY soon though so make sure you rest and relax, you're going to need your energy for all those contractions!

It's impossible to say. Labour could be five minutes away or it could be three weeks away. All you can do is wait and see. The weight of the baby on the cervix can cause spotting and light bleeding.
