How can I hook up speakers to power source?

So i have one side speaker, one center speaker, and one subwoofer. They don't have any jacks, but I do have a 3.5mm jack from my ipod to wires. I also have wires from a power source. I have the wires to connect the ipod, speakers, and power cable all together. But I don't know exactly how to do it. I don't want to do trial and error, it might burn my ipod battery.

You need an amplifier. Possibly a 2.1 channel amplifier that has a summer and crossover for a sub.

Put speaker wires into speaker terminals of amplifier,

Connect ipod headphone out to line in on the amplifier.

Connect the amplifier it to an appropriately rated power source.
