In a haploid organism most mitosis occurs?

a) after fertilization and before meiosis

b) after meiosis and before fertilization

c)between meiosis I and II

d) during G1

e) in diploid cells

I thought it was after fertilization and before meiosis, but it was wrong. I'm also confused because I thought diploid cells were the ones to go under mitosis. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to consider how meiosis II is very similar to mitosis. I'm starting to think that the answer is b) after meiosis and before fertilization, but I'm not very sure.
