Is this a typical conversation with a creationist?

Rational person - "If I add 1 + 1, I get 2, right?"

Creationist - "Yes. "

Rational person - "If I add ANOTHER 1, I get 3, right?"

Creationist - "Yes. "

Rational person - "If I add ANOTHER 1, I get 4, right?"

Creationist - "No! That is so messed up!."

We don't know that she was a 'creationist' per se, the discussion was about hell, and not all creationists accept the concept of hell (it's that picking and choosing biblical points thing). She was apparently a biblical literalist.

Nevertheless, it's rare to actually pin down a theist like that, but I've watched Matt Dillihunty for years, and he's petty good at skewering them on logic. Moat of the Atheist Experience revolves around such arguments of logic, not of actual discussion of the specific points. Ultimately, I think ANY discussion of whether God exists or does not can be broken down into this sort of logic problem.

The only problem is proposition 3 - is not correct!

Humans have free will including the ability to go against Gods will, if it were not so Adam would not have eaten from the tree!

Proposition 3 being incorrect renders proposition four all mess up.

The thing neither proposition 3 nor proposition 4 have anything to do with creation. So what is your point?

The probability threshold increases exponentially because adding factors in to probabilities is not the same as adding integers.

It's funny watching anti-Creationists get all worked up over stuff they don't really know about.

    I don't think you're being very fair.

I'm sure some of them can count at least as high as ten.

... except that clearly not everything goes according to God's will because people can make choices that are not in his favor.
