Just playing the devils advocate here,

arent all scriptures altered versions of the original hebrew bible which is kinda considered the original word of god? Theirs is just newer than yours.

Edit: Every bible aside from the original is altered, even the translations have mistranslations in them altering the meaning on several occasions.

You should add a little more to this statement. All religions have taken what they need in order to control the population.

As far as I can see nothing that is written today can be trusted as the truth. If you do your research you will find that everything we have now has totally been translated, added and subtracted from any original scripts.

Your statement also condemns you for judging others, in my understanding its all about love, and learning to use your heart and energy towards peace and joy and harmony for yourself and others.

People always think that the Christian bible is altered and not the original, I have no idea why they think that, it is merely the original text translated to English. But, the JW's are unique in that they have altered and misconstrued scriptures to work with their doctrines. That is why they are a cult and they deny the diety of Jesus Christ who is God, and God have mercy on their souls... I pity the ones who choose to be willfully ignorant and not find these things out for themselves and just trust their severly flawed religion.
