Do any of you kids asking us to do your homework for you know how to use a dictionary or an encyclopedia or?

hahahahaha! I applaud your answer on behalf of everyone who comes trying to be helpful and find questions that are either easily solved by a quick computer search or so massively complex as to obviously be essay assignments they'd rather someone else do. It's amazing, their nerve!

I'm not a kid, and as an adult people doing as you describe doesn't make me think twice.

I practice self-moderation; if I don't like it, there's zero interest or if I'm not inclined to reply I don't click on it; I don't judge the questions asked on a questions and answers site or the askers motivation in posting.

That said there is a category for Homework Help or something along those lines; so asking for homework help seems entirely permitted so I don't see the dilemma - nor do I care if it's posted in the wrong category. That's just small silly stuff, granted my humble opinion.

Lol - I felt like posting this yesterday! The thing that has blown my mind is some of the questions asked here are things that should be already covered in basic primary school or that are common knowledge that I had at that age without being taught. It isn't so much the spelling and grammar as it is the content and the thought process... I put together some of what I found to be frightening highlights together from here and just pasted them in a list, posting it on my FB.

Maybe I am just too old, and out of touch ;)
