My grandma won't let me get hipster glasses?
So in a few days im going to get new glasses and more contacts and i showed my grandma the type of glasses i wanted and my friend was wearing them. So she yells at me telling me im trying to be like my friend and im not, i've always loved hipster glasses before people got all obsessed with them. What should i do?

Just tell her they are who you are and shes gotta deal with that <3

Say that it's your decision, you get to choice not her's. Tell her that you can never become someone else and you're still your own person. Getting new glasses doesn't mean that you're changing who you are.
