Do you agree with this pre-election assessment, that no matter who won, it was a win-win?

"If Obama wins, America wins. And if Romney wins, Comedy wins". - Bill Maher.

I think it's the exact opposite. It was a lose-lose situation no matter who won. Bill Maher is a f*cking idiot. He referred to the death of 4 Americans as "nothing."

Definitely four years of Romney would have been four years of pure comedy even more so than Bush and we would've needed it to get us through the hardship. Romney like Bush wanted to keep this country in a perpetual state of wartime spending by adding 2 trillion dollars to the military which is the exact equivalent of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan all over again and on top of that he wanted to add 5 trillions dollars to the Bush tax cuts which weren't made permanent because they were unsustainable in the first place. Not only that he would've oppress huge portions of our society by limiting their civil rights and over turning the 1965 voters rights act which the voter suppression laws across this country clearly violated. No one was calling it a dictatorship when Republicans ruled the white house for most of the 20th century. But now that the black guy has won twice in a row, omg the world is coming to an end. I'll be happy when citizens united is over turned and somethings done about voter suppression tactics on a federal level. It makes no sense for voters to have to stand in line past midnight when they as recently as 2008 had more days to vote. Obama needs to declare Election day a national holiday to put an end to that craziness. Many people cant afford to stand in line that long let alone take off work. The Republican party is scum.

No. the only time shall we ever have a great chief is that if he became rather able to make it to the acceptable. No mediocre guy or woman ever became great. human beings like Bush, McCain and now Romney surprisingly lots have had lukewarm help all alongside. No no longer ordinary hindrances, significant corruption or overwhelming hate to conquer. Republicans think of Ronald Reagan became great. How quickly the forget approximately that he very very nearly became no longer nominated by using Republican accusations of being wacko. we can't have any chief that makes a difference till a miracle occurs and somebody gets in workplace with loopy innovations in spite of great disapproval. in any case, if the human beings authorized of greatness, they could have already got it.
