Should the UK opt out of the European Court of human 'wrongs'?

We have been 'left footed' yet again by by the law lords, both the homegrown variety and EU stalwarts. Why can't WE (the British people) make decisions on our own behalf?

We were dragged into this current standing of what is called the Human Rights Act by the last Government under the leadership of pretty boy Blair. (he wanted his wife to get a regular income from the Act)

All that I have seen so far, are Criminals, Hate Preachers and all other extremists using this Act with the blessing of course of the Legal Profession (who are having a field day with their income).

Just to rub our noses a bit deeper, we have yet again been stopped from kicking out one of the most objectionable vermin's Abu Qatada.

Just to look back in time, this bloke arrived on our shores in 1993, on a FORGED Passport. So why was he allowed into this country in the first place?

Since than this bloke together with our Judiciary has taken the piss out of this country at a cost to the Taxpayers of millions.

Basically what Judge Mitting (also known as gutless) has put Qatada's rights above the citizens of this country.

The faceless wonders in our Immigration Appeals Commission are not aware of their responsibilities for the security of this country and its people.

Wake up Politicians, forget filling in your expense forms, and stand up for the people of this country who are really really pissed off with all of you, for letting us down.

it should be disregarded entirely it is designed to be the terrorists friend ,we in this country are totally fed up with pork hating scumbags like Abu Quatada and now another fat pig hater Abu Hamza abusing our system ,if that bunch of fuddy duddy so called judges are so keen on letting scum like that wander free spreading their bile then set them loose on the continent of Europe and that does not include UK ,Oh by the way one useful measure to contain the scum is to get a friendly pig farmer with a muck spreader and spray his residence with pig muck

The British justice system and rule of law is known as the best and fairest in the world. Britain does not need any interference from outside jurisdictions, which cannot improve our present system and should opt out of the court of human rights forthwith, but here again we may be hamstrung in opting out..

I'd have to say that given the huge number of draconian laws passed by the last Government, we do rather need to the ECHR.

Our own laws allow for detention without charge for 28 days. And 58 with emergency powers.

We have laws that incarcerate people for being racist on the internet.

We have laws that incarcerate people for burning the koran.

We have "hate crimes", that warrant further punishment (as aposed to those "I really really like you crimes").

We have the world's only National DNA Database on a Police Computer.

I'm all for British Sovereignty, but the state of the law in this country thanks to the last Government makes me genuinely concerned about what people might start experiencing without having the ECHR outlining the most basic rights of an Englishman.

Yes, we should have our own Human Rights bill that suits the people of our country. In the meantime we should either ignore them and put Abu Qatada on the first plane out of here, or at least stop all the benefits he and his family are getting.
