How do they put a link to a picture when posting on an internet forum?
Y'know like someone posts some words on a message board and there is this little word that is in blue letters, and when you click the blue letters the picture pops up

that's very easy!
you have to upload that picture on a public server, e.g.
http://tinypic.com/index.php (click on the Browse button and locate the pic you want to upload)
then wait until the upload is complete. after that a link is provided and this link you have to post in the forum.
there are more public servers but for pictures it's very comfortable.

it depends on the forum - some have a link button in the editor, some you put between < and >, some you use a special tag. It all depends who's forum you are talking about. In yahoo answers, you need to be level 2 or above to put in links and you just type the http://address/ and it automatically shows up
