  • Can synthetic marijuana make real marijuana legal?

I doub't anyone would buy synthetic marijuana if they could by real marijuana legally. Since some people can't buy real weed there will be an opportunity to market substitutes for it. This makes keeping pot illegal a way to enable a bogus weed industry to succeed, even though this drug has many harmful side effects that cannabis does not have.

  • What can we Americans do to retaliate for Amanda Knox?

Apparently foreigners think they kick us Americans around when we are accused of committing a crime on their soil. The people of Perugia seem to have forgotten that we are the worlds only superpower.

  • Why is Amanda Knox getting a new trial?

My guess is Knox made a deal when she was in prison, She gets freedom if she does NOT write a book about her ordeal and go on the American talk shows to promote it.

I have read that Knox has written a book and it will go on sale next month.

This brings up an embarressment that Italy hoped would be forgotten by now.

They could arrest the boyfriend and threaten to convict him again and serve 20 years in prison, unless Knox keeps her mouth shut.

  • Will Obama experiance the Bradley effect in November?

Mayor Bradley of Los Angeles ran for governor of California. According to the polls he was about to win, but he didn't. The theory is that Californians did not vote for him because he was black, and the ballot was secret, but when they were polled they would not tell the pollster that they refused to vote for a black, they would rather say they were and appear politically correct.

  • Could cities in the US have been attacked in World War II?

While the civilians of America were probably safe from this, the nazis had invented that V 2 rocket. there was no way to stop a V 2 , back then.

The German nuclear technology was like nothing, compared to that of the USA, back then, but they may have been able to build what is called a dirty bomb, it explodes and spreads radioactive dust over a city. Perhaps millions of people would get radiation poisoning and die as a result. And they could do it all in one go.

Japan had started work on such a project.

Could Germany have sold Japan a larger version of a V 2 ? this would contain a dirty bomb, and have space for a Kamikazi pilot who would steer it.

The Japanese navy was working on a submarine that had a rocket launcher on it.

  • Can republicans get a reforendum on gay marriage on a ballot in the general election?

I read that if the local republicans get enough signatures on a petition they can get a reforendum on gay marriage, on the same ballot that will be used to vote for president.

So if you are mad about gay marriage, you can go to the polls to vote against gay marriage, and while you are there to do that, you can vote for the candidates.

I have heard that George Bush was able to get RE-elected in 2004, because there was a large turnout of social conservatives at the polls.

They were there to vote against gay marriage.

While these people knew nothing about the candidates they were voting for ( except that they knew there was no reason why W deserved to keep his job) they voted for all the republicans to send a message to the democrats who were allies of the liberals and gays who were trying to get gay marriage legal.

So John Kerry, lost an election against a guy who the majority of voters rejected in 2000. and, he would have won if he was not the democrat in an election the republicans were stealing.

  • Is the problem with advertizing ruining the economy?

Back in economics class they taught me that advertising is needed to keep commerce going.

Now in the past few years the people who have lots of money to spend have gotten things like tivo and DVDplayers, so they watch TV without looking at the advertising. If you are watching something you recorded you can fast forward thru the commercials. They also have satelite radio so they don't hear radio advertising.

I would think that the result of this would be consumers will stop buying crap they don't need, because the advertising is not reaching them.

    Therefore there is less commerce.

  • Can we improve the internet by boycotting sponsors?

It seems to me that most of my time spent online is wasted. 9 out of ten times when I look for something I get something other than I wanted and I have to look at an Ad and find where I click to close to see it.

OK you computer geeks may think that for YOU the internet is nearly perfect, and my problem is I never learned how to use a computer, Well the advertizers think of me as a potential customer. I have got into the habit of buying the lowest priced product, because the brand name products appear to me to be overpriced. I keep thinking that a few percent of the price goes to the brand's advertizing budget, so by buying the brand name product I am paying for something that wastes my time.

I hate my computer so if I see something advertized on it, I will associate the hostility I feel towards my computer with the product I see advertised.

Perhaps we can e-mail the sponsors and say that if a website doesn't work right for me, I will write the sponsors name on a list of stuff I refuse to buy.

  • Was Casey Anthony a drug Dealer?

    Think about it,

Casey made an arrangement with a supplier. They would meet, he brings the drugs, she brings the cash.

The supplier is on his way to the meeting, someone behind him hits him on the head, when he wakes up,the drugs are gone.

The supplier is a speed freak, he assumes that Casey told her friends that he was carrying the drugs, they stole his merchandise.

He calls Casey and tells her to pay him for the drugs her friends took. She refuses to.

Then the supplier decides to kidnap Caylee, and tell Casey to pay up or her daughter dies.

The supplier uses too much chloroform and kills Caylee. He dumps the body in the rubbish heap.

Casey cant tell the police, because they will send her to prison for the drug dealing, so she lies about where Caylee is or she takes the 5th.
