Finnish people are not mean, not at all. So you don't have to worry about that if you choose Finland.

In Finland everything works really well and there is nothing bad to say about anything. Except... winter is cold, long, snowy (or not) and dark! Well, summers are often really comfortable and the sun won't go completely down at nights.

I can't say anything about Ghana, since I haven't been there, nor in Italy, but I Italy is a place where I'd like to visit someday. I love old buildings and especially I love good football (soccer).

I guess another question to ask is this: how many Finns travel to Italy for summer vacations ? And how many Italians travel to Finland for summer vacations ? :-)

Finland is a nice place. I have been there many times including in summer, when the days are very long and the nights very short. But the night life in Italy in the summer is just ... richer than that in Finland.

I think Italy would be really nice to visit. It is a beautiful country. As for Finland, it is nice as well and I don't think Finnish people are mean. Whoever said that may have had a bad experience. Ghana I am sure has a lot of beauty but Italy would be my first choice.
