AFROTC and Class Conflict?
So I want to enroll in AFROTC, I tried this previously but my classes were always in the way. This is because for my engineering discipline there are certain classes I have to take in which only one or two professors teach it and they dictate the times. By the way, the Det. that is closest to my university is about a 1-1.5hr drive away, and they don't provide transportation
I was told by an AF Major in the det. that it was impossible for me (he actually ignored my story when i tried to explain to him the situation). However, after joining Air Force forums, other Officers tell me to keep trying.
So my question:
What option should I suggest to the Det.?
Is it possible to make up LLAB's on weekends?
Should I jump Chain of Command and speak directly with the Commander of the Det?
Is it possible to join a different Det.

since you are obviously attempting to join a Unit with on a cross town agreement, there is nothing to do.. no you are not going to necessarily be allowed to make up the lab time and the ROTC instructors have no obligation to assist you in any way. especially if you are not contracted or on scholarship.
your only option might be to change schools to attend one that does have ROTC.
