Will systems restore on Windows 7 restore a deleted email to Windows Live Mail?
Virginia Tech recently switched to gmail and my email address was moved. I was led to believe that everything would transfer automatically to the new email but I have lost many of my settings. If I execute a system restore to the point before the deletion, will the old email address reappear in Windows Live Mail with the settings?

No, they will not.
Windows live mail settings and messages are stored on a server that you don't have access to except through your mail application. Those messages are never on your computer in the first place, so doing a restore can not bring them back.
This is like asking if remodeling your living room back to the way it was a year ago will bring back the tv shows on your tv that were showing at that time.

No, it will not. Only works on files on the computer, not online.
