Deaf people! Do you use Yurbuds? Does it work?

I need to know if it works or not.

I saw this YoutTube video:

I will make no guarantees, but I know that the video posted is in fact real. There is something about the way that yurbuds channel the sound into the ear and the vibrations created that allows some people with profound hearing loss to hear their music through them. This by no means should be considered a guaranteed or a solid claim, but I can only speak from the evidence of seeing maybe ten people with hearing aids be able to "hear" music through yurbuds. I hope this helps.

It does not work for me -just depend on how much a person hears.

Glad some of you can hear with it.

  • Thanks for the video. I'm going to order them for my mom and see what they do for her. She wears two hearing aids that are failing to help her, but as she is a hospice patient it makes no sense to get her new hearing aids - maybe with her Pocket Talker these could help her. I'll let you know.

BTW - I ordered them off Amazon for $20 including shipping.

I use them - they are the only type of fitting that I can tolerate.

The only thing is the great claim about never falling out is all very well uness you have had radical middle ear surgery and then there is a great cavity a short way down the ear canal for which a larger size is better.
