This is such a weird song. I just wrote in about 7 minutes. Someone on my fb was saying they were having a bad day and wanted to fly away like a bird. I love the Demons song by Imagine Dragons and I guess this had something to do with it. Please tell me what you think. This was very experimental for me, I just wrote whatever. I haven't written in months.

I need a birds eye view of today

For example if the driver has to pay $70.00 a day to the company that he is leasing the cab from does that mean that everything over $70 on his meter machine he keeps? Plus tips?

I wrote this after reading Robert Frost's poem The Road Not Taken. This is my first real poem and it's in his form.

Dearest ****** I hate the clench of your fist

Your smile though left undone like a pause

Your texting and calls I have truly missed

My heart it turns it burns and twist

For your friendship is my cause

Suddenly I find myself in all of trouble

And your voice nowhere to be heard

I run to you on the double

Stumble and fight through the rubble

And yet amidst the fight I hear no word

Time heals all wounds that is what they say

And as friends grow, wounds they all bear

To bring us from darkness into the brightness of the day

Step into the spotlight we are all actors in this play

Say the lines, do your part, and don’t be scared

Tell me the truth are you my friend?

Will you never let anger go?

Will you comfort me until the end?

Can a heart break because it can’t bend?

When I hear your voice I will know

I need to know if it works or not.

Does the part about

Then ignorance is bliss" make sense or should I reword it?

It was soft and it almost sounded like the guy from the fray was singing it.

I've heard it before. If you sounded out the "oh-uh-whoa-oh-uh-whoa" part it may help. It was kinda sad and slow and soft.

I believe it was a soft rock song. Probably the 90's to early 2000's.

I would love to join to get the door open for talks on collaborations but right now I can just write lyrics. I also have nothing published and have not performed. It's all just words on my pc. Can the $35 fee allow me to join?
