That's not what Patreaus said. They said the event happened in Benghazi AFTER there had already been a protest in Egypt. There was no terrorist attack in Egypt, so they didn't know what was going on in Benghazi except that it looked like a terrorist group similar to al Qaeda.
With EVERY OTHER protest that went on world wide, in reference to the movie, why would anyone think Benghazi was the exception?
@Big One....every intelligence personnel that had a say SIGNED OFF on the talking points that were unclassified. They could NOT sign off on the classified ones at that time.

Ok so wait. Petraeus knew the attack was Al Quaeda, and Susan Rice was told it was a video. So somewhere between Petraeus and Rice, someone decided to cover up the truth. Is that what you're saying? If so, who made that decision? Petraeus or someone else?

The president said Rice has done "exemplary work" and said she spoke at the request of the White House "in which she gave her best understanding of the intelligence that had been provided to her."
Sounds like Obama threw her under the bus - her "best understanding" - is he calling her an idiot?

Don't leave out the most important point: The General said the immediate, initial statement was Al-Queda did it; then the White House took Al-Queda out of the assessment, and starting pushing the so-called video. Cries for help were denied - 4 Americans Died.....You are way off base.
