How do historians relate dates for different civilizations?
All civilizations have had different concepts of time, and B.C/A.D. haven't always existed. Historians use B.C./A.D. for a reference point in time, but no other civilizations other than Christian would have used this. How do historians know how far before or after Christ other civilization's events happened? i.e. the Trojan war happened about 1250 BC, Persian wars 500 BC, Alexander 300 BC.
