Obama, he vilifies all rich people and ran a campaign of ad hominem attacks and no ideas and continued defending the patriot act and he ordered the assassination of US citizen without trial (bush was bad enough, but this puts Obama in another league). This country is more divided than it's been in recent times, probably since the civil war.

Consensus of historians is Andrew Johnson, whose actions needlessly delayed completion of Reconstruction.

Historians rank Warren Harding pretty low on the list also. He famously and shamelessly directed Federal money to his cronies and political supporters. Fortunately, no one else has ever done that.

Ulysses S.Grant gets low marks from historians for fundamental incompetence.

The developing consensus of historians about Jimmy Carter does not look good for the peanut farmer.

There is not yet a consensus of historians about Nixon. A plurality of historians votes a straight Democratic ticket, yet Nixon's accomplishments (EPA, opening to China, ending the draft, starting revenue sharing with states, equal employment opportunity, Title IX, largely ending segregated classes in the south, and the list goes on) simply cannot be completely ignored despite his serious personal failings.

It is far too soon for a dispassionate assessment of the presidencies since 1989.

I am a lifelong liberal who has left the Democratic Party.

Franklin Pierce was one. He advocated slavery, and wanted to expand it.A Democrat who sided with the confederacy. His college classmate (Longfellow) wrote a "glowing" book about him, and because of that, was elected president. He lost the nomination for reelection. (FYI he was a relative to Barbara Bush) Ironically, the next worse was George W. Bush.

As bad as Obama is. I think Jimmy Carter still reigns at the top of the worst president list. He was just a nightmare. He actually makes Obama's record look good. He was even worse on Israel than Obama, which hard to believe but actually true. He dare called the state of Israel, an apartheid state. What an antisemitic bigot he is.

President George Bush is the worst President in history with the lowest approval rating in history I think. I feel he wasted so much time putting us a war with a country that was not responsible for 9-11 and ignored the warning signs of our economy going down hill. He also wasted all the years ignoring (8 years) of needing to build our roads and job creation here at home. It has came so close to destroying us. I am a democrat.. Obama is the best President for us right now!

There were a lot of bad presidents. Hoover kinda sucked, and so does Obama. They're pretty similar.
