Why am I always hungry and tired, rate my diet and exercise plan?
Hi,
I am a 32 years old 128 pounds 5.6 woman. I have an impeccable diet (or so I think) that is comprised of fruits, veggies, proteins, some healthy fat (avocado, almonds, yogurt, etc) and train everyday by doing the "Insanity" work-outs.
Why am i always hungry and tired? I think it's because I'm not taking in enough calories but how could I improve?
Typical day:
Get up at 540: walk the dog
6am Insanity work-out
7am protein shake
9-930ish 100 calories bagel, egg white, alfalfa, turkey bacon sandwich. Yogurt, and 4-5 strawberries
Lunch: 1 cup of carrot, one cup of broccoli, 3 ounces of pork steak. 2 mini cucumbers and 6 cherry tomatoes
afternoon snack: .5 honeydew melon or something like that
Dinner: piece of meat with a bunch of vegetables
I drink or try to aim for 2L a day.
I burn between 400 to 700 calories when i do that work-out. Sometimes at night i'll do 30 of power yoga (very relaxing) and/or 10-15 minutes of stairmaster before dinner.
Why am I always hungry and tired?
Oh and I go with the 90% good diet and 10% cheat.

Wow excellent work on constructing your diet! My question for you is are you maintaining your weight at 128, or is this diet resulting in a gradual weight loss? If you are losing weight, simply add more of those healthy foods to your diet until you reach your maintenance, which would keep you at 128 day after day.
Another thing is, you may want to consider sleep to be the problem. If you're not getting adequate sleep it can mess with your cravings and you could feel hungry even if you don't need food. And this would also go along with your tiredness symptoms too.
