Philippines, EMO or Amuck?

If by "emotional" you mean a "predilection for defensiveness as an overreaction to constructive criticism driven by an innate inferiority complex"a.k.a. DRAMA, then amuck it is, definitely.

I certainly believe in your saying that Filipinos are the "most emotional" people on the planet. Did you know that the very first chop-chop victim was in the Philippines? She was hacked into little pieces and was thrown to different direction in Manila. If my memory serve me right, this happened in 1967. A beauty parlor attendant was killed and chopped into little pieces. That incident is still happening until now and much worst.

Both I should say, FUN and DRAMA. Fun for relatives who will visit the Philippines for the holidays and enjoy the moment while in the Philippines. Drama for others who lost a love one who was either killed and rape, shot by robbers in a grocery or supermarket, bus drivers who run over another vehicle in the highway because of drugs or sleeping while driving etc....These two(2) syllables go hand in hand together, FUN and DRAMA in the Philippines. We cannot go without the other. That is why you often read or heard "ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES".
