and drive is car just now

If he waits until he has the whole £15,000 he must wait 150 weeks, about 35 months, almost 3 years

Maybe the car will be out of production...

And worst thing: he will be without a car for three years!

car costs 15000 lbs 450 lbs he earns save only 100/ week 150 weeks or 2 years and 46 weeks

24 months 46 weeks app 34 months

That would be 150 weeks.

Assuming four weeks in a month, that's 37.5 months. In reality most months are a bit longer than that, so it would be slightly less.
