Does being Native American and Puerto Rican heighten my chances of being accepted to college?

Being Native American might help if you were a registered member of a recognized Tribe, but if you were, you'd already know that. Having some Native American ancestry is not helpful. Being Puerto Rican would neither help nor hinder your chances. Being mixed is - totally average, these days.

In order to be able to say you are Native American for the purposes of college admissions or financial aid, you must be a registered member of a tribe. If you are not, then legally, you cannot claim Native American ancestry.

If you are Hispanic, or Native American, it can give you a bit of an "advantage" in terms of college admissions, because some colleges will compare your SAT and GPA against the scores of others who are Hispanic, for example, rather than the general applicant pool. This can mean that if your scores are a bit low in general for the college, but high for Hispanics, this can help you re: admissions. But this doesn't mean that if your SAT scores are very low, you should be looking at Harvard.

Lol no that would be discrimination to other races. Unless maybe you went to a Native American college.
