I just bought a new HP laptop that has Windows 8?

I have a new HP 4GB laptop, that has the new Windows 8 update. The internet (Google Chrome) is extremely slow and shockwave flash ALWAYS crashes. Is there anything I can do to make it run a bit faster?

    I wud sugest not to use the filehippo.....you shud directly download from the official chrome website. I wud suggest to use Firefox, no crashing, no slow problems, If you have problems in speed go for XP or 7...you will be fine....

    Try uninstalling Google Chrome and reinstall it using their latest version:

    Don't worry, Google Chrome is always in Beta version. They release new ones almost every week. That's how they update their releases.
