Here's a tip: The left-wing is the working class. The right-wing is the super-rich capitalists. Liberals are not left-wing, rather they are the left-wing of right-wing capitalism. That is why liberalism time and again betrays the working class to the super-rich capitalists.

Pro choice is Democrat.

Gay marriage is Democrat.

Gun Control is Democrat.

Death Penalty is Republican.

Drug legalization is Democrat.

Opposing affirmative action is Republican.

Safety first is Republican.

Amnesty is Democrat.

Environmental regulation is Democrat.

Tax cuts for all is Republican.

Spending cuts to Military is Democrat. Spending cuts to all those other things is Republican.

Cutting regulation is Republican.

Opposing government health care is Republican.

The foreign policy stuff is a mixture of Democrat and Republican.

Overall = You are a Democrat on social issues but Republican on economics. You're something like Mayor Bloomberg.

I'd say you are contradictory:

1) support strict border control AND amnesty for illegal immigrants.

2) Support aggressive foreign policy towards terrorist and support a non-intervention foreign policy.

3) role of government is to keep people safe AND don't support government run health care (although conservatives and libertarians will say that IS consistent)

4) support regulations on protecting environment but support the idea of cutting regulations on businesses.

All-in-all you sound like a libertarian (for the most part).

Sounds like an opportunity to create a new political party around it...considering that Republicans & Democrats have gotten "long in the tooth!"
