Rate my Pokemon White team?

Having finished the game, this is a team I plan to use for mostly competitive battling. Here is the team I thought about using:

Sawk - Ability: Sturdy, Adamant nature

Moveset: Brick Break, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Close Combat

Dragonite - Ability: Inner Focus, Jolly nature

Moveset: Dragon Claw, Fly, Fire Punch, Thunderpunch

Weavile - Ability: Pressure, Adamant nature

Moveset: Ice Punch, Night Slash, Iron Tail, Shadow Claw

Magnezone - Ability: Sturdy, Timid nature

Moveset: Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon, Signal Beam, Thunder

Gardevoir - Ability: Synchronize, Timid nature

Moveset: Psychic, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Psyshock

Excadrill - Ability: Sand Rush, Jolly nature

Moveset: Earthquake, Rock Slide, X-Scissor, Iron Head

Also note that I have/will be EV training all of these pokemon with a full 252 EV's for speed and their respective attacking stats (Attack for Sawk, Dragonite, Weavile, and Excadrill, Special Attack for Gardevoir and Magnezone). Is this a good team for post-main game purposes? Critiques or comments are welcomed.

With a team being so offensive... you are going to need entry hazards. Even 1 layer of spikes can be the difference of you being KOed and the opponent. That being said, there are 2 pokemon you can quickly replace on the team; Sawk and Gardevoir. Sawk is entirely outclassed by Conckledurr; besides speed (which is migitated by Conck having Mach Punch), and Gardevoir, while there isn't anything techincally all around "better" then it, Reuniclus overpowers and has better defenses, while Alakazam overpowers and has better speed. And both have better abilities.

Magnezone without Magnet pull is only good for 2 things; boosting or switching. That being said, Removing Signal Beam + Thunder for Charge Beam +Substitute is one option, or removing Thunder for Volt Switch and slapping a choice scarf/specs on it is another option. The magnezone set you have is pretty outclassed by Jolteon, who's faster and can threaten a whole lot more things then.

Excadrill is banned by smogon standards, so if you battle online with people, many will complain/won't battle you. Even so, X-scizzor would be used for 2 pokemon, Bronzong and Claydol. The latter is pretty much never seen, while the former is generally outclassed. That being said, Rapid Spin is a superior option. Removing hazards can really help some pokemon, specifically Dragonite.

Speaking of which, fly is an utterly USELESS move in competitive battling. So you use fly, their move misses. They know what your doing next, so they swap to their Heatran. Or Magnezone. Or Jolteon. or the best possible thing the have on their team to take fly. get rid of fly for earthqauke, so you can wreck all 3 of those things I just mentioned (not like Jolteon would live the Dragon Claw, but still)

Ghost and dark covers the exact same thing; Psychic and Ghost. The only offensive difference is one is immuned by normal, while the other fighting resists. That being said, Shadow Claw is entirely useless on Weavile. Pursuit and Ice Shard are better (but I think one of those is an egg move), and while Iron tail is generally outclassed by Low Kick and Brick Break, it can still be used.

As a final note, I would recommend removing Gardevoir for a bulky pokemon that can set hazards. Ferrothorn, Gliscor, Skarmory, Heatran, and Tyranitar are all fine options. Tyranitar even gets the benefit of settings perminate sand for Excadrill, but then you run into a fighting weakness. If you get tyranitar, replace Weavile for it and replace Gardevoir for Reuniclus.

As an overal team review, realize that I only listed bad things for the team, as complimenting you doesn't accomplish a whole lot. I know I sounded like a bully through most of this critizim, but your team does have a lot of refining points. I would give it a 5.5/10, you got a good base, you just need to capitolize your offenses more.

This team is pretty good for post game events

    However, for competitive battling:

#1 Excadrill is Uber. If you don't want to be placed in the Ubers tier, you need to get rid of it. If you don't care what tier you're in, maybe replace Iron Head with Swords Dance.

#2 Dragonite needs Multiscale (from Dream World). The best and most used Dragonite set is Dragon Dance, Outrage/Dragon Claw, Roost/ExtremeSpeed/Earthquake, and Fire Punch, with a Jolly or Adamant nature and 252 Attack, 252 Speed and 4 Special Defense.

#3 Nobody uses Sawk in competitive battling. Maybe replace it with Conkeldurr with moves Bulk Up, Drain Punch, Mach Punch, and Ice Punch (if you're in BW2) or Payback. Adamant nature, with 120 HP, 252 Attack and 136 Special Defense.

#4 Weavile likes speed, so a Jolly Weavile works best. Give it Swords Dance and Low Kick/Brick Break instead of Iron Tail and Shadow Claw.

#5 Magnezone can take either Sturdy or Magnet Pull. Thunder and Signal Beam should be replaced by Substitute and Charge Beam. HP Fire or HP Ice would be nice, but without cheats it's really hard to get a specific Hidden Power type.

#6 Gardevoir is sorta bad outside of UU. For a strong Psychic type, I'd say either Reuniclus if you want a special attacker or Metagross if you want a physical attacker.

Hope I helped, and good luck with your team!
