A.greater B.less C.the same
Tengential velocity should be less at r than 2r. Basically the larger the arc subtended by the angle, the more space it covers in less time. So the larger the r, the higher the velocity.
Q.2) The object at 2r would have a tangential velocity of ____
A.2rω B.2πω C.rω
V = ωr, so the answer is C. If it was in comparison to r, though, V would = 2rω
Q.3) If the object at radius r rotated twice around the common point it is said to have moved ____
A.π rad B.2π rad C.4π rad
2pi is a full revolution, so 4pi would be 2 revolutions.
Q.4) How many degrees is π/2 ?
A.180 B.90 C.45
pi/180 = 1 degree
pi/2 * 180/pi = 90deg
B. 90
