How to lose 30 pounds in a month?

i am 175 pounds now. 5 ft 6 in . i need to lose anywhere from 25-30 pounds by January 1st. if i eat a minimum of 100 calories day and run hour a day, can i lose the weight? if not, how much do you think i will lose. no mean comments.

    Okay the website i posted turned out to be a joke, i looked more into it and it's kind of stupid., I'll just tell you my experiences.

    Have ALOOTT of green tea (decaffeinated) and what i usually do is, right after i have a big meal, i boil a cup of water (not too much) and squeeze half a lemon in it, stir it and drink it (not pulps) just sip by sip.

    Drink water before eating as well. and make sure you're having your apples cause, an apple a day keeps da fat away! ;D

    That's usually what helps for me

    Oh oh and make sure you're taking alot of fibres, proteins, vitamin c and especially d and lastly vitamin a and avoid foods with lotsa sugar and fat.

    You cannot lose 30 pounds in a month. And if you only eat 100 calories a day your body will go in to starvation mode and hold on to weight. Try eating about 1200 calories a day, do some exercise, drink water and avoid soda. You will be able to lose about 8-10 pounds per month.

    lol im hoping 100 cals a day was a typo! The only time I could lose that much in a month was either to cut cals way down and exercise, or go low carb, which if you do, be careful coming off because it will come right back and then some.

    restricting your calories this way will make you gain weight. your body needs a certain amount to function, and without them, it enters starvation mode and cling to any bit of fat you have for dear life.

    If you want to loss weight, and I know you've probably heard this 100000000000 times before:

    1. Drink lots of water, and before eating, drink a glass of water. This helps curb the appetite.

    2. Eat Veggies! also, eat a small, low calorie salad before dinner! These greens will fill you up a bit and reduce how much you eat. (I suggest a simple iceberg or spinach salad with veggies and very little dressing. skip the croutons, cheese, and meats on your salad- just stick to veggies.)

    3. Be active! Running for a full hours sounds extreme to me- try 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight/resistance training.
