Any ideas of how to get rid of this feeling?
Hi, I'm in 9th grade and i'm Iranian. My hobby is running and I want to be the best in it. There's this guy in 10th grade who's from England and is amazing in running. This motivates me to be friends with him. There's also this connection with this song... Rihanna California King Bed. Whenever I listen to this song, i start thinking about him and see him in my mind. He seems like a nice and cool person and cares about people. The thing is, the fact that i'm Iranian and he's British makes me unhappy. I feel an outsider sometimes and that I don't deserve to take care of myself and to more care about other people... I never can show off my real personality because of lack of confidence... I'm also dealing with weight loss. What should i do? any ideas?

You should run and beat him.
Good luck, Iran needs good role models.

On weight loss, I'd recommend a low-carbohydrate moderate-protein diet; see WHY WE GET FAT by Gary Taubes, THE PALEO SOLUTION by Robb Wolf, THE PRIMAL PRESCRIPTION by (Can't recall at the moment...) My personal experience is that it works and it's easy.

Concentrate on running and being the best at it and other matters will take care of itself.

Be yourself, accept yourself, make friends with him, I'm sure he doesn't care you are Iranian.
