Am I due for unemployment checks?
The trucking company I drive for gives 120 days off for sick leave and 6 weeks of personal leave all unpaid. In 2012 I was ill twice, last a foot infection. My 120 days is up on wednesday, meaning termination unless i let them know to put me on the remaining personal leave. I cant reach the memphis,tn. unemployment office to ask is "this type of termination will entitle me to unemployment checks??. I have a few options only no information to begin.

No.
You are losing your job due to you being physically unable to perform it, that does not qualify you for unemployment.
Unemployment also requires you to be able and actively looking for a new job that you are able to start ASAP. If you are too sick to work for your current employer, you aren't going to be in any condition to be actively looking for a new job.
