Question about 79 GS 1000?
I have a a 79 gs1000l I in payment for helping a guy rebuild his truck. I know very little about motorcycles other than a lot of it can be interpreted into cars. My question is where can I find a wiring diagram for it? When I go to start it, it fries a a ground by the battery under the left side-plate where there are a bunch of electrical components that I don't have a clue what are.

Battery ground goes to the frame,must be clean bright metal,and there is another cable ground to the engine from the frame,if not then fit one.
aside from that just treat it like a 70/80s four cyl car.only real difference is when setting it up you kind of treat the engine as if it was four singles joined together and vacuum gauge the readings so the are all the same for each carb,idle speed should be stable,no hunting,after that they're pretty much bullet proof.
