MY liquid cooling system has sprung a leak which air cooler will be a good replacement?
just discovered a leak in my system, im not going to repair it i just want a replacement that will do the job! I only got it to handle my 5ghz overclock on my amd fx 6100 during the summer but i dont think ill be going anywhere near the 5ghz mark again, 3.6-4.0ghz is what ill be using. What would you guys recomend to keep it below 50c @ 4ghz - i'll be using arctic cooling mx-4 thermal compound as its my favorite!
my budget is £20 GBP (if you make a convincing point my budget will stretch quite far)

A cooler master hyper 212 is a standard overclocking heatsink, its about $20 and should handle an fx 6100 at 4.4Ghz easily.

woah mate, leak + anything electrical never sounds promising. Sounds like you really know what you're doing though. Congrats on the 5ghz O.C.! That seems insanely fast overclocking. I am not too itnerested in overclocking but I liked learning about it. my desktop rig I built is fast enough and don't need the extra speed. As for overclocking seems like trustworthy mobo, reliable good psu, and amd seems best (did you adjust vcore cpu multiplier for overclocking? or just adjust mobo bus-speeds?) but mainly knowledge of overclocking and you seem to have that.
maybe tom's hardware forum for technical ideas, too, although yahoo answers is usually really helpful.
