How do I get rid of blackheads all over my face?

I wash my face religiously every morning and night. I drink lots of water, eat relatively healthy (no fried foods or sodas), I exercise 5-6days a week, and they still appear all over my face (the nose is basically covered). I am using an apricot scrub specifically for blackheads at the moment, and some pill I ordered online from walmart that is supposed to help control breakouts. Why are they still here? Even after I squeeze them they just come back in basically no time at all. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Update:

Thank you for the comment, Jasmine. Damn genetics. I suppose self control will be my best medicine until further notice.

Update 2:

Haha, Laura I am on a college budget so that is currently out of the question. If you're still around, do you know how long a treatment like that would last before relapse?

I would recommend try using Jojoba oil.

Jojoba Oil is almost identical organically-speaking to sebum, which is the natural oil produced by your skin. Studies on jojoba oil show that it has the ability to prevent skin from becoming too oily. This is due to the fact that putting jojoba oil on our skin can trick our cells into thinking they have produced enough oil.

Remove any surface dirt from your skin, then put just a few drops of jojoba oil into your hand and rub it into your skin when you start to work jojoba oil into the skin, the oil penetrates into the pores. As jojoba closely resembles your skin's own oil, moisturizing with jojoba oil sends the message to your pores to stop overproducing the sebum that causing the oily skin.

Initially to get rid of the stubborn deep blackheads, I would recommend that you use a baking soda/jojoba/water paste with extremely gentle circular massaging motions to break up the worst blackheads. Don't overdo it, just massage in the baking soda/jojoba/water paste gently for a minute or two. Rinse with warm (not hot) water. Apply more jojoba oil and massage with a warm washcloth.

The idea is to get those plugs out (blackheads), and get the jojoba oil in there to keep the sebum liquid and flowing. This may take some time as the skin reacts to drying by pumping out oil, and the turnaround you're going for is a natural distribution of oil which will leave your skin soft and balanced.

Jojoba oil is also particularly good for skincare and acne. The Jojoba Oil penetrates into the skin without clogging pores. It can be used on all skin types, contains vitamin E and antioxidants which are great for fighting aging signs and moisturizing the skin. In addition it is also antibacterial making it great for treating acne breakouts.

    Hope this helps!

I feel for you! Blackheads are actually totally different from pimples, they are just oxidized oil turned black, not and infection/ clogged pore like a pimple is. The best way to get rid of them is using a scrub with salicylic acid daily. Also, pore size is determined by genetics (i learned this the hard way), so don't get too excited about products that say they'll shrink pores. They usually just dry out your skin with alcohol to make your skin feel tighter.

Also, squeezing out blackheads is bad for your skin, but even I can't resist it. If you're going to do it, do it after a hot shower to minimize the damage you do to your skin.

You could also have a facial with extractions. It will probably be over $100, but it will clear your pores out! Google spas in your area and compare services and prices.
