Jehovah's Witnesses, would you agree....?

that with all the hatred twisted questions and some answers given by those who hate us is a positive and no doubt works in Jehovah's favor, as these ones are fulfilling bible prophecy!

John 15:18-19, If the world hates YOU, YOU know that it has hated me before it hated YOU. 19 If YOU were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because YOU are no part of the world, but I have chosen YOU out of the world, on this account the world hates YOU.

John 4:4-6, YOU originate with God, little children, and YOU have conquered those [persons], because he that is in union with YOU is greater than he that is in union with the world. 5 They originate with the world; that is why they speak [what proceeds] from the world and the world listens to them. 6 We originate with God. He that gains the knowledge of God listens to us; he that does not originate with God does not listen to us. This is how we take note of the inspired expression of truth and the inspired expression of error.

No doubt the hatred shown by those who hate us and Jehovah can stir an interest in some which can lead them getting to know and love Jehovah the we do?!

Have you any experiences in this working in Jehovah's favor?

Agape

Update:

Edit... and no doubt some of the answers given will prove the A part of the question right.

Yep and have said so when I have the occasional nasty email!

I know of a few who said that it either made them look into our faith more fully; just out of curiosity to see why so much hatred. Or even ones who have said that no matter what they throw at us, we always come back with a mild tone which impresses them.

But oh for the day, when the only people who are around are the ones to praise Jehovah and never to have to pass our eyes over such disrespect!

Yes I think so. Some no doubt feel ashamed that the Trinity has been so soundly refuted, along with other false teachings of the immortal soul and young-earth creationism. So instead of humbly seeking a clearer understanding of the Bible, God, and Christ, they contrive questions for the sole purpose of making themselves feel better somehow. But honest and objective people can see the difference and how Jehovah's Witnesses have proven their case.

I also think that when certain ones who have been opposed to Jehovah's Witnesses and Biblical Christianity ask questions about the Annual Meeting's adjustment of key terms in Mt. 24:45-7, that they are hardly able to understand the issues. Their sole motive is to make themselves feel good for the day. I doubt they're really interested or even capable of understanding what Jesus meant or what's been said.

Also, regarding your last question, yes there have been ones who have been impressed with our answers here and apparently have started studying the Bible with us.

It is true that other groups can point out that they are hated for one reason or another. However when Jesus said "on account of my name" he was pointing forward to those who would be obeying him, and not just people who are unpopular or mis-understood. He also gave the prophesy at Matthew 24:14 that the Good news of God's Kingdom will be preached throughout the inhabited earth, then he gave his disciple the commission at Matthew 28:19,20. Who are showing themselves to be obedient and fulfill this commission? People ridicule Jehovah's Witnesses because this is the work they are known for. We don't visit people to ask for money or to invite to a church; but to talk about the good news of God's Kingdom, and we teach the Bible. So when people hate us it is for doing what is right in Jehovah's eyes, and we will receive our reward from him.

The proof is seen quite clearly. this prophesy has been fulfilled. What they speak of us shows their dimness and ignorance -even taunting God almighty Himself. Hebrews 10:" 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of [the] living God.+" taunt1 [tawnt, tahnt] Show IPA

“There Will Come Ridiculers With Their Ridicule”

Despite the urgency of the situation, most of earth’s inhabitants are not concerned about the approaching “day of Jehovah.” They mock and ridicule those who warn them of its imminent arrival. True Christians are not surprised by this. They remember the warning recorded by the apostle Peter: “You know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires and saying: ‘Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.’”—2 Peter 3:3, 4.

Indeed, it makes me think of the religious leaders in Jesus day... you know, when Jesus was dying on the torture stake, so incandescent with joy were his opponents, that they mocked "he has put his faith in God, let GOD save him!" little did they know that those very words were in the Psalms and that they (his opponents) were futher helping subsequent generations to put faith in the ransom.

Just as the puny efforts to stop Jehovah purpose were laughable then, the "weeping and gnashing of teeth" of those that hate Jehovah, the slave and all his people will do nothing but help honest hearted people to see the truth. Those who stand against Jehovah and his people are in a lose/lose situation; and we (not by our own merit of course, but thanks to our King) can do nothing but continue to win!!

While I agree with pretty much everything you say, I've noticed that many ask antagonistic questions which are bound to get angry responses. I think the 'quiet and mild spirit' should apply to our questions as well as our answers.

There are many religious groups who have come to the same conclusion in regards to persecution. It is why the use of logic and reason in arguments against the Watchtower Society works far better than name-calling or outright displays of hatred. The persecution itself doesn't prove anything, apart from proving that you're persecuted. Scientologists, Mormons, Moonies, Jehovah's Witnesses and other such groups are all attacked, and they all take it as evidence for the absolute rightness of their particular cause. All of these groups claim to have the truth, but it simply isn't possible that they're all correct. What makes these people sure enough to potentially die for their group's cause? What creates such a strong illusion of certainty in their minds?

No one hates you - Christians hate the fact that what you are teaching is false and are leading people away from Christ. very few of your teachings have any Biblical basis at all and cannot be supported as a sect of Christianity in any form.

Don't hate YOU fruit nut. I am bemused by YOU, even slightly amused by YOU.

The Watchtower Cult has conditioned YOU and brainwashed YOU.

The Elders have lied to YOU. Satan is not trying to trick YOU

The day that the Watchtower Cult meets its Armageddon, the better off YOU and others like YOU will be.
