Poem for today....Silly Games?
I wrote this after meeting a person struck down by self delusions.
Silly Games.

How did you think I'd feel,
when you play your silly games!
Did you think I was a mug,
being subjected to your shame!
As if I even cared,
when your transparent don't you see!
Living with your self created fiction,
as I see you with reality!
Oh I know you've probably been hurt,
that's just living unaware!
Taking it all now making sure there's none to give,
without the means to care!
Your just a memory in a moment,
that's already history!
Silly games with Judy 2 shoes,
that';s not a mystery!
I hope one day you find your presence,
life's then so easy bear in mind!
It was no big deal meeting you,
that's what you'll come to find!
You see some people live in drama,
in their movie they're the star!
All directed with self delusion,
that can never reach as far!
As something good to be remembered,
to be cherished costs no price!
So goodbye Judy 2 shoes,
silly games are not played twice!
For playing games are left to children,
in innocence the game is true!
But I've no time to waste a moment,
playing silly games with you!
This person thought they could bewitch me with the allure of the empty vessel.
What they forgot to notice is you can no longer break through my reality and this is a blessing because once you've found yourself you can give so much more to those that genuinely want your time.
I sent that to them by text to stop them trying to play with my head.
Do you think it will help them realise?

I had a very similar thing happen to me today ...
But my problem is that I'm too nice anyway ...
Caring about other people is a downfall of mine ...
and they all know how to use me up every single time ...
It's my own fault to give a hand and help a less fortunate folk ...
They just take advantage of me and harness me with a yolk ...
So if I ever give my phone number out they ring and text and ring ...
Today it was 5 calls, 3 texts to make me run to them and bring ...
"Bring me a bottle of wine and a packet of smokes until the morrow wind" ...
and it all gets a bit too much for me being a non drinker so I just grinned ...
"I'm doing my shopping, so you'll need to wait" ...
Yet nothing that is said makes them hesitate ...
"I'm not your wife and stop calling me please" ...
must just sound like a sweet little old tease ...
He is dying for a smoke he says with a wheeze ...
Nobody deserves to catch my stupid disease ...
People are great at any age ...
and they will nag until they create rage ...
Help the elderly? and feel sorry for old men?
65 years old and screaming as if he is ten!
Let's all feel sorry for the sick old man ...
and watch me run to do whatever I can ...
Pardon me because my mind can't see ...
Why I should help any bloke who's rude to me ...
This is society and this is why people don't give a flick ...
Because us nice girls are over men pretending to be sick ...
I've got a car so I should share ...
and after today, "I just don't care" ...
The poor old man doesn't give a crap about my day ...
I'm expected to do whatever someone else will say ...
I'm not lending him nothing nor going out of my way ...
As I am a wake up to the games that old people play ...
I don't care how old anybody is anymore...
After they ruin my day and that's for sure ...
We can all be polite and respect is my law ...
Otherwise they just laugh and do it down to the core ...

I read this twice. The way in which you layer longer story-associated prose is admirable, and whatever i've so much difficulty with. You're making it look easy, normal, however every person who write comprehend the reverse is correct. I normally measure the effectiveness of a section by using the quantity of TD's........Jealousy rears it's green head. Kudos to you, Mr Carney.
