I didn't "cut him off" as punishment, but it's rather difficult to feel romantic when I'm angry at him for some reason. Same with either one of us. When I have angered him, he's going to want time away from me. We just try not to let an argument get that far.

I don't believe in cutting people off as "punishment" as I don't believe sex is a weapon. Nor should anything else be. Communication is more important. Having said that: after my ex cheated I couldn't bear to let him touch me. I tried to overcome that, but 2 years later came the divorce. Had nothing to do with punishment, it was more about trust.

Not with either of my marriages. When there has been an ongoing "debate" where we were both stubborn about the issue, then the issue would probably preoccupy our thoughts and having sex just didn't seem too interesting at the time.

Oh, the age old difference between men and women. It has been my experience that "relations"begin during the day.
