yankee_sailor,
good to see you again - sort of out of hibernation for a spell.
The short answer to your question is nothing short of "YES"; sick of it all on this Mayan Calendar. I sense the matter has been over interpreted by a few and blown way out of proportion.
Just in case I am wrong I am waiting to mail most of my bills until I awake on the morning of 22 December, 2012.
Great question...star coming...have a great day!

Armageddon sick of it too.( good one ). I just got a calendar from the drug store and it goes to December 31, 2013.
The Mayans couldn't even predict their own demise

December 21, 2012 isn't a prediction of the end of the world. It's just the end of the Mayan Calendar....then it starts all over again.

Roll on 22nd December when 50,000th and last question about it by a hysterical kid will have been answered and we can all have a break from this seemingly endless tide of drivel and nonsense.
That is, until the next doomsday prediction is made...

Not really... I think it has a point. I don't think the Mayans just simply create a calendar for no reason..
