Don't you just chuckle when people claim that atheists 'ban' something when they don't?

Like this church that sent out invitations to public schools inviting them along to see the heavily Christian "Charlie Brown Christmas"?

http://charlotte.cbslocal.com/2012/12/05/church-ca...

Or when they sue to stop a publicly funded school from endorsing the christian religion:http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/20262865/lawsui...

NOTHING is being banned. They are preventing the government from endorsing any religion. They are saying, at the core, "Believe what you want, don't you dare get endorsement from the government for it."

If YOU want your church to see the Charlie Brown special, YOU set one up at YOUR church. Put up ads inviting all.

If you want an orchestra to play a Christmas special, YOU set up the damn show.

If you want a nativity scene, YOU set one up in your yard or at church.

If you want a decalogue on display, YOU set one up on your lawn or at church.

NOTHING prevents you from doing these things on your own property or property purchased from a private company (like a billboard company).

Take some personal responsibility for YOUR beliefs.

You might hate us for it, but you'll come to appreciate how much we've lessened your reliance on the government. If you're going to rely on the government for religious displays, then don't have a shitfit when atheist organizations get to use that public property as well.

    1) Religion is not supposed to be endorsed in public schools, no one gives a **** about what it is, it's just not supposed to be enforced.

    2) Are you serious? How relentless are they? You CANNOT endorse religion on public schools! Or political views for that matter!

The government shouldn't be endorsing any religion anyway. What went wrong in the first place is that they sent invites for religious views to public schools. Not everyone is Christian, or believes in God. It does not matter what you say or do, let the students believe what they want to! Now if this did NOT involve "heavily Christian" stuff, then it would be greatly approved. Have you ever thought of the many other religions without a God, but still has a higher power? For example, Buddhism. No God. Just a higher power. I have spoken.

good questioning, Joey. i do no longer think of the final wing buttheads could desire to refute that factor, however the thought could be too deep to anticipate them to comprehend it. i could choose for to work out what absolutely everyone writes approximately this thought. it particularly is super, Joey! Ishtar is erroneous in calling marriage a sacrament. basically the Roman Catholics verify with marriage (incorrectly) as a sacrament. component to the reformation did away with calling marriage a sacrament because of the civil nature of it as a settlement.
