Is there a website that has "intelligent" political debate?
Where conservatives have something to offer other than, "We love Putin," and "We hate black people,"?
8 AnswersPolitics7 years agoWhat is it with conservatives cock riding Putin?
10 AnswersPolitics7 years agoDo christians dismiss countless accounts of Vishnu actively working in and transforming individuals' lives as mere delusion?
If so, are they being rational in doing so? What say ye?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhich game would you play right now?
If these were your only options, which one would you choose:
Far Cry 3
or
Assassin's Creed 4
4 AnswersPlayStation7 years agoDo you think FPS gamers would spring for a product that helps them get better at gaming?
I have the opportunity to develop a product (right now, I think it would be an eBook) that could measurably help FPS gamers (Battlefield 4, COD, etc.). I'd love to contribute to the community but I don't know if it is worth my time, knowledge, and capital.
Feedback from FPS gamers would be great. Thanks!

...believe to be cleverly asked questions?

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoSo, christianity is basically like welfare?
I was perusing one of the questions I answered and saw the answer from 'No Chance Without Jesus' . Apparently, all religions but christianity require that their rewards are earned. Christianity's big selling point is "we have government cheese"?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIf you've got your act together in life, does it really matter who is in office?
I mean, regardless of who is in office, you either have what it takes or you don't. Here lately, (most notably Obama vs. Romney), it seemed either side was really concerned with electing someone that would make things better for them. Is that what our founders had in mind?
"To be prepared for any contingency beforehand is the greatest of virtues." - Sun Tzu.
8 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhy do christians cry about not being able to pray in public when Jesus said not to?
5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." - Matthew 6:5-6.
To be fair, I'm an atheist, former christian. I can imagine if I was still a christian, and found out that Jesus gave precise instructions on how to pray, I'd probably follow those instructions. Unless christianity has nothing to do with doing what Jesus said.
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoDon't you just chuckle when people claim that atheists 'ban' something when they don't?
Like this church that sent out invitations to public schools inviting them along to see the heavily Christian "Charlie Brown Christmas"?
http://charlotte.cbslocal.com/2012/12/05/church-ca...
Or when they sue to stop a publicly funded school from endorsing the christian religion:http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/20262865/lawsui...
NOTHING is being banned. They are preventing the government from endorsing any religion. They are saying, at the core, "Believe what you want, don't you dare get endorsement from the government for it."
If YOU want your church to see the Charlie Brown special, YOU set one up at YOUR church. Put up ads inviting all.
If you want an orchestra to play a Christmas special, YOU set up the damn show.
If you want a nativity scene, YOU set one up in your yard or at church.
If you want a decalogue on display, YOU set one up on your lawn or at church.
NOTHING prevents you from doing these things on your own property or property purchased from a private company (like a billboard company).
Take some personal responsibility for YOUR beliefs.
You might hate us for it, but you'll come to appreciate how much we've lessened your reliance on the government. If you're going to rely on the government for religious displays, then don't have a shitfit when atheist organizations get to use that public property as well.
