People forget that many times bad storms are a sign of judgment from God. Think about all the laws of God that have been broken by states on the Eastern seaboard.

Nah 1:3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Those meteorologists are good at predicting storms but they can't make them go away. They are powerless.
