Christians pretty much aren't aware of "countless accounts of Vishnu" doing anything. Sorry.

Most Christians I think would not dismiss the accounts of believers in Vishnu, not that I've heard any.
But we would use some common sense and look and see which has the ring of truth about it.

Yes and no. They also dismissed all of the eye-witness accounts by people who have been touched by the noodly appendages of the FSM.
