Does god use men's unrighteouness to make himself righteous?
Is it not unrighteous for god to use men's wrongs and faults to make himself holy and recieve praises.
I am an atheist but maybe christians can explain why would a god according to yourr beliefs use you, a creature made for his pleasure to make itself holy and be praised because of its perfection by pointing out men''s faults and wrongs.
@Jesus Saves incorrect as even people who accept Jesus and use Jesus's "spirit" to help their "spirit" it does not change that according to ur beliefs ur god uses you to make itself righteous even after having accepted jesus.
@Jennifer yes I would agree but I am studying psychology and sociology and wondering why would a enormous group of people justify their beliefs that what they believe in makes itself seem grander by pointing out how imperfect mankind is.
@Monkey Well according to your beliefs god made humans perfect but they "sinned" and that introduced men into wickedness. God points out men's faults and wrongs, mankind's unrighteousness to point out how righteous and holy it is. I was a Christian and wondering how could you accept this?

I'm also an atheist. That wouldn't make much sense; if a god existed, then it would have nothing to compare itself to, and would therefore not need an ego boost.
I think that your question is better answered by the fact that man invented god.

from Muslim:
"Is it not unrighteous for god to use men's wrongs and faults to make himself holy and recieve praises."
you are on earth to be judged, not to judge THE Judge! that will be backward useless logic!

So you are saying, that God created humans Imperfect, just so that He could be considered perfect? or am I reading this wrong?
ONE God, in the whole universe, no other god to compete with....why would He then want to make Himself perfect using humans which you say he made imperfect for that reason.?
doesn't make any sense. Why bother making humans at all, because without them, no one would even be aware of His being Imperfect, would they?
It seems that people just go way out of their way, to find faults with something they don't even believe in in the first place. That to me, is weird.

No. God's righteousness reveals how unholy we are but by accepting Jesus as Lord, Jesus' righteousness is imputed to us thereforeHe doesn't view us as unrighteous.

Our God is righteous. PERIOD. He needs NOTHING, and especially nothing from our low selves to prove Himself.
